This Friday, while you are self isolating or ploughing through, let these new tracks from Kent artists tune your ears in to what the most musically productive county in the country sounds like right now.

We have added all tracks to the ‘cene #KeepitKent Spotify Playlist HERE

Parx - Feel Right Now (FT. Nonô)

Sevenoaks house producer Parx has released a club banger featuring the super smooth vocals of Brazilian-turned-Londoner Nonô. Sampling a classic hook that everyone will recognise (think Eddie Murphy rather than the Crazy Frog), Parx has given us a track that is worthy of a Balearic beach setting.

Broken Hands - Can You Feel it

It seems an age since the effortlessly invigorating Broken Hands boys have taken our ears to the peaks of compulsive licks, the depths of heart thumping drums and enchanted us with siren-esque lyrics, but they are back with their anticipated EP ‘Can You Feel It’. The title track is a seductive soup of 70s rock licks, indelible vocals and a dash of Royal Blood. Boom.

Harriet Jaxxon - The Sound

Influenced by her days at Whitstable’s infamous Brewery Bar, Harriet Jaxxon is one of the Drum & Bass scene’s most exciting talents. Her first single, ‘The Sound’, nods to cross-genre and cross-time-period influences. It’s an explosive launch to her solo mission. For our full interview with Harriet click HERE.

Josie Man - Just Me

Orpington artist Josie Man has gone and done it again. ‘Just Me’ is the next in a line of pop pearls that Josie is quickly becoming renowned for releasing. Despite having only a handful of tracks, Josie has created a formidable sound that is explorative, yet seems so familiar. We are enjoying Josie discovering what makes her as tick as an artist and a person in each release. Proper talent.

Havelock - Oh My Word

Stop it now, Mr Havelock. Tales of temptation focus the mind in Havelock’s new track ‘Oh My Word’. With a hit of Jamie T-style delivery, provocative lyrics (“having dirty thoughts up in the work place, maybe I’ll get fired in the worst case”), and a speedy melody make for a lust-filled narrative.. or perhaps of a personal anecdote? Either way, he has nailed another style of delivery. Is there nothing this guy can’t do?
