Photographer Phil Miller to show his work at The Sportsman

The show will be at the Michelin-starred restaurant from March 3rd - 26th

Whitstable freelance photographer, artist and filmmaker., Phil Miller will be showing off his work at the Michelin-starred Sportsman pub in Seasalter. 

Having spent his early career as a camera operator for production companies and television stations including the BBC and Channel 4, as well as working as a director for Sky Television on The Movie show, in 2004 he won the BBC London photographic competition, for his portrait of a coach driver sunbathing on the Southbank. 

Since then, he has exhibited his artwork internationally in New York, the Cannes Film Festival and Cologne. His work has also been sold through Liberty in London.

In recent years he has worked as a director and camera operator for video content. Most significantly creating music videos and artwork for Ample Play records, whose artists include Cornershop.

His short film, Why Did You Buy me Plastic Flowers? screened at the London Short film festival in 2012.

Photography projects have also included unit stills on the Feature film The Last Photograph (directed by Danny Huston and video installations Haze and Amphora  at the Turner Contemporary in Margate, (scored by Composer Helen Caddick).
