NEW MUSIC: J:Kenzo returns on single with Flowdan

Kent producer releases' ‘Like a Hawk’ with legendary grime artist

J:Kenzo is back with a brand new single and a new sound. Featuring legendary grime artist and founding member of Roll Deep Flowdan, the Kent-based producer returns to Artikal Music records with new single ‘Like a Hawk’.

Described as a ‘raw hybrid grime / dubstep crossover’ the vocal delivery from Flowdan is backed by dark beats, energetic synths and a heavy dose of pulsing base.

The chorus spells out a lesson in the game “No you can't run before you walk; Nah you can't chat before you talk; Can't buy champs without the cork; Don't wanna watch me like a hawk”.

It has an addictively sinister edge and we love it. It’s no surprise it has already had plays on BBC 1Xtra and more.

The single is a forerunner to J:Kenzo’s next album which is due to drop in October 2019.
