An Unmissable Summer of Events at Folkestone Harbour!

What’s Coming Up on Folkestone Harbour Arm Summer 2024?

An Unmissable Summer of Events at Folkestone Harbour!

As the days stretch longer and the temperatures rise, Folkestone Harbour (@folkestoneharbour) is gearing up for a spectacular summer of entertainment, culture, and fun.

Prepare for a truly one-of-a-kind event, guaranteed to bring a smile to your face - The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever. On Sunday, 20th of July, Folkestone Harbour will once again be awash with flowing red dresses, as hundreds of people unleash their inner Kate Bush and recreate the legendary Wuthering Heights music video.

Whether you're a seasoned dancer or just ready to embrace the joyous absurdity, if you are wearing red you can join in the mass performances: at 12pm and again at 4pm. And don't worry if you're new to the 'Wuthering' world - there will be warm-up and practice opportunities to help you perfect your moves. Imagine hundreds of 'Kates' swirling and twirling in unison against the stunning backdrop of the Harbour Arm - it's quirky, it's joyful, and it's guaranteed to be an absolute spectacle!

But there is so much more happening throughout the summer, there is live music every Saturday, Sunday & Bank holiday, at 2pm and 4pm until September. Not to mention the massive free outdoor cinema programme every Friday at 7pm from May to September.

This year's lineup is truly stellar, promising something for every taste: dive into the fantastical world of Wicked; revel in the sharp wit and fabulous fashion of The Devil Wears Prada; embrace the pink-tastic, empowering world of Barbie; and sing along to the electrifying story of Queen in Bohemian Rhapsody. These evenings are set to be unforgettable, offering the perfect way to unwind, connect with friends and family, and enjoy a classic film al fresco with all the great street food options in The Goods Yard, from jacket potatoes to gyros and ice-cold craft beer to delicious cones of ice cream.

Once again, you’ll be able to follow the Lionesses this summer as every England Women’s match at the Euros will be shown on the big screen. There's an undeniable buzz in the air as the defending champions seek to retain their title. Come together with fellow fans, in a family-friendly environment, united in your passion, and roar on the Lionesses. England’s first match versus France is on Saturday, 5th of July, kick-off 8pm.

And as summer gently fades, the festivities continue well into September with the arrival of Wunder Harbour. Get ready for some ‘gut’ times at Folkestone Harbour’s take on the well-known Bavarian festival. Expect hearty food like bratwurst and pretzels, hearty steins of traditional Bavarian beer, and a lively atmosphere filled with oompah music and joyous camaraderie.
