DISCOVER KENT'S SQUERRYES FOR A SPARKLING EXPERIENCE

Visitors can explore the vineyard through a tour and tasting, or order a tasting flight from the restaurant or Cellar Door

On the slopes of the North Downs sits Squerryes, a family-owned 2,500 acre estate on the Kent and Surrey border where vines, heritage and hospitality intertwine.

or generations, the Warde family have cared for the land, guided by their enduring motto, Licet Esse Beatis meaning ‘it is permitted to be joyful’. Resplendent in stained glass above the front door of Squerryes Court, they like to say they're in the business of creating joy, and now they're bottling it.

Since 2004, Squerryes has been dedicated to crafting vintage English sparkling wine, made exclusively from estate grown grapes. Each release captures a single season in a Brut, Rosé and Blanc des Blancs - each English summer translated into fine bubbles, with refreshing acidity and elegant structure.

Visitors can explore the vineyard through a tour and tasting, or order a tasting flight from the restaurant or Cellar Door, both of which also offer a Master of Wine curated range of English and international still wines. In the estate’s 2 AA Rosette restaurant, seasonal menus celebrate estate produce and local Kentish ingredients, thoughtfully paired with Squerryes sparkling wines. It is refined yet relaxed, polished yet welcoming and offers a range of menus, including Sunday roasts and afternoon tea.

The Estate Deli adds another layer of discovery, stocked with Neal’s Yard cheeses, artisan accompaniments, estate grown produce and goods from talented local makers.

Whether arriving for a long lunch, a tasting flight, or simply a wander through vineyard and wider estate, Squerryes offers space to pause and reconnect. It is a place where craftsmanship, countryside and celebration meet. Start planning your visit for vineyard views, sparkling tastings and seasonal dining.
