editor’s note:
It’s frickin’ outrageous just how many talented folk there are springing up and moving to this county.
Not a day goes by where an international artist doesn’t take up residence, or a home-grown band aren't being nominated for another award. It’s always our pleasure to find these folks and try to tell their story, but it never ceases to amaze, the gems that turn up.
In this issue, Whitstable’s Matthew Holness talks about bringing back his famous character Garth Marenghi. We go synth-sational with Pollena, Margo McDaid spends 10,000 hours, we have Claire Luxton on the ecosystem of the face, designer James Small on À Couvert and Dream Safari on his visual library, while Canterbury goes Free Range and screenwriter Mark Stay talks about bloodthirsty goblins.
