Dopamine Dressing, Virtual Dancers and Talking cranes
Well, this is novel isn't it?! Some sunny days when you're not locked in your house! As things heat up for the summer season, don't forget to get out there and be among the things you love.
The word on the grapevine is that events and festivals need you now, more than ever. Rising costs of, well, f*cking everything is hurting hospitality and the live industries just as much as you or me. If you're going to a festival this year, don't wait until the last minute to buy that ticket, get in there early and show your support. Go out to gigs and get behind local musicians and venues if you can. Enjoy the indie food and drink venues that Kent has to offer. There is so much to embrace right here, use it, don't lose it.
In this issue we speak to Samuel Capell about his love of illustration and his warcry against fast food. We hear the words "dopamine dressing" for the first time with Harriet Hill, learn the art of crazy golf with world champion Marc Chapman, inject some nostalgic soul into Dover with Rudie Edwards, discover crystal energy with Esoteric Kent and hit the ice with the Night Owls.
There's virtual theatre with Aoi & Esteban, magnificent murals with Catherine Chinatree, skincare products made from Kentish wine grapes with Pelegrims, Airstreams, Flow Rooms, high ropes and so much more.
Enjoy.
