Medway Rapture Gaming and Creative Festival - this weekend

The Medway Rapture Gaming and Creative Festival is taking place at the Historic Dockyard Chatham this weekend, Saturday, 3 and Sunday, 4 July

The event will include an array of activities from a retrozone, virtual reality, robot wars, nerf arena, sports games, a plane simulator, an arts and crafts zone as well as a number of the Dockyard museums being open to the public. 

Organisers have been working with partners from across Medway including, our four universities, MidKent College, Dovetail Games, Nucleus Arts and BAE, just to name a few.

The event can go ahead under the Government’s Stage 3 roadmap as at 17 May 2021. They have planned the event with a 25% capacity and the majority of the activities will be held outdoors. They will be encouraging social distancing across the event, together with face masks to be worn (unless exempt) and a strict cleaning regime of our equipment.

There is still a chance to buy tickets and you will need to purchase these in advance as they will not be sold on the door. Tickets are £15pp for a day ticket and £28pp for a weekend ticket.
