We have added all tracks to the ‘cene #KeepitKent Spotify Playlist HERE
DUTCHKID - SUGAR

Following the release of ‘Lemonade’ which saw three spins across BBC Radio 1 on ‘Future Artists’ and on the nationwide BBC Introducing show, the Kent-based, alt/pop electronic collective Dutchkid are back with new single ‘Sugar’ on Ultra Music.
Marking single number two to be taken from their upcoming debut album also on Ultra Music, Dutchkid continue to turn heads with their unique brand of stylish electronic pop. Working with renowned producer John Foyle (Gorillaz, Years & Years, Jai Paul), they once again demonstrate the raw talent that so rightly earned them a BBC Introducing Best of 2020 accolade.
‘Sugar’ is a sweet treat. Based on a fictional character, ‘imagining how to go about telling the person they’re in love with’, the track is laced with synth and dipped in candied pop, but with out being sickly. A bouncing melody and enduring beat makes it delicious to the ears. Tasty.
THE OVINES - COLA

The Ovines have released their lively youth culture commentary single ‘Cola’, with glances at the issues of drugs, late nights, lack of sleep and mental health.
Distorted riffs and grainy vocals add a post-punk element to the story of not wanting to get out of bed and face the inevitable growing up. Raw and energetic, ‘Cola’ is a shot of adrenalin complete with a catchy chorus.
There are elements of 90s Britpop-style indie from the outfit who have swapped Medway for the creative flows of Margate to work with Lazy Daze Records. More music is said to be on its way and we cannot wait. Zealous.
MOLLIE COLLINS - REMEDIES (FT. RUTH ROYALL)
Instagram: @molliecollinsofficial
Medway’s own DnB boss Mollie Collins has released new track ‘Remedies’, featuring the soothing vocals of Ruth Royall.
A pure form liquid drum & bass track, ‘Remedies’ continues the DJ’s quest to the top of the game following the release of her debut album ‘Musicality’ in 2020. It has all the elements, from a beautifully tranquillising melody to the honeyed vocals lulling you towards the drop. Once you are in the trap, there’s no way out. Crisp.
STAR.ONE - HATE LOVE (FT. S.E.N)
Instagram: @staroneuk
Genre chameleons Star. One are at it again with a track that transcends Garage, Dance and RnB.
‘Hate Love’, sees the one-time Ashford DJ and Production brothers return to their creative best merging together music classifications and throwing us in the time machine again and again.
High energy beats, sharp electronics and a mellow vocal from S.E.N create a phonic soup that needs to be supped. Blended.
