NEW MUSIC: FT. PAPERFRIEND, SUNCHARMER, BABii & MIC RIGHTEOUS
We have four new tracks from Kent artists for this week’s New Music Friday
This Friday, while you are self isolating or ploughing through, let these new tracks from Kent artists tune your ears in to what the most musically productive county in the country sounds like right now.
We have added all tracks to the ‘cene #KeepitKent Spotify Playlist HERE
PAPERFRIEND - MY VERY WORST DAYS
Maidstone Emo band Paperfriend return with a personal ditty from their EP ‘I’m Over This’ that takes you back to the youthly trials of love, loss and friendship.
SUNCHARMER - THE ARIZONA OUTLAWS
From their new EP ‘Dusty Valentine And The Arizona Outlaws’, Tunbridge Wells group Suncharmer has released new single ‘The Arizona Outlaws’.
Made up of Paul Crisp (Guitar & Vocals), Josh Brice (Guitar), Sam Dann (Bass) and Jasper Morris (Drums), Suncharmer have garnered attention for their unique take on modern indie rock. Combining influences to create a vibrant blend of 70’s riff-rock with elements of 60’s surf music reminiscent of spaghetti westerns and Tarantino movies. We love where this theme is going.
BABii - SNAKE
“And yeah, you’re moving like a snake.. you’ll always be the same, you’re always causing pain”.
Thanet electronica star BABii continues to release tracks from her 2020 EP ‘iii’, with SNAKE up next. An emotionally charged arrow made from heavy beats and digital apexes fired at someone close to her. It’s our favourite from the EP.

MIC RIGHTEOUS - BECAUSE I LOVE YOU
Margate rapper Mic Righteous releases the title track from his new album ‘Because I Love You’.
The incendiary lyrics and ability to describe a life through rhyme continue to make Mic Righteous stand out.
Painful memories take the brunt of verbal explosion that Mic has become renowned for. It is raw and brilliant.
