Walt Disco, Bring ‘Young, Hard and Handsome’ Tour to Margate

Glasgow quintet, Walt Disco, have announced ‘The Young Hard and Handsome Spring Tour’ for March, April and May 2020, including a date at Margate’s independent music venue, Elsewhere, on April 22.

With a reputation for flamboyant, New Romantic androgyny, Walt Disco’s live shows are theatrical, energetic and full of “guitar-flailing urgency.” The new wave/indie-pop band has been described as having “one foot in the eighties and the other in shimmering modern indie-pop,” a combination that is almost impossible not to dance to. 

Frontman, James Potter, when talking about their aesthetic choices to The Skinny, explained, "things like wearing a wedding dress, it's not going to change the world but maybe it's going to change one person's opinion about a guy wearing a dress, you know?"
