NEW MUSIC: Claire Pitt-Wigmore releases 'My Nostalgia'
Margate artist channels The Cure with trippy pop banger
Claire Pitt-Wigmore is a multi-instrumentalist from Margate in Kent having played guitar and piano in a number of bands across the last decade.
This year, Claire has taken her solo loops into the studio to record her debut single ‘My Nostalgia’. What started as a simple hook at home has been transformed into a fully composed piece of music with help from Anchor Baby Studios in Ashford.
With shades of The Cure and vocals reminiscent of 90s indie female-fronted groups Sleeper and Garbage, Claire Pitt-Wigmore has achieved a trippy but addictive pop banger.
With strong guitar riffs and ‘get-in-my veins’ chorus sign offs, ‘My Nostalgia’ has got me dreaming of what’s next.
Distributed by Lazy Daze and produced, mixed and mastered by Dan Lucas.
