Canterbury On Ice Begins Today

The City’s first festive ice rink, launches this winter in the beautiful and historic surroundings of Dane John Gardens

Set to be a firm favourite for the festive period, the gardens will provide a dramatic backdrop for the rink, with twinkling lights and views available from the city wall walkway and top of the ancient mound. Enjoy stylish skating, festive food and drink, music and nearby Christmas shopping inspiration at the Christmas Market.

The rink will have a clear roof to allow skating whatever the weather and even under the stars as the evening arrives. Skating sessions start on the hour and you get have 45 minutes on the ice.

Tickets are on sale now at canterburyonice.co.uk – get your skates on – tickets are selling fast! Canterbury on Ice will run every day (except Christmas Day) until Wednesday 1 January 2020.

Opening times vary, but will be from 10am to 9pm on weekends and during the school holidays.

The maximum capacity is 140 skaters per session.
