Torstraße 164, 10115

Named after the biblical cities of sin this place is a good starting or ending point for your night. This is an Ultra lounge, meaning it’s part bar part club. The crowd are chic hipster meets fun Berliner. You won’t regret your visit.

 The Chelsea bar

Torstraße 59, 10119

If House and Techno isn’t your thing but Indie music is, then this is your place in Berlin. The bar is beautiful yet unpretentious, you definitely want to have a cocktail here. If you’re in Berlin for the weekend and wake up with a sore head on Sunday, head here first. They have the best Bloody Mary’s and tunes to sooth your hard-core soul.

 Schlesische Street

10997 Berlin

This road has a bunch of great boozers to check out. Homes bar (a lovely chill cocktail bar), Mysliwska (a fun spot for locals and tourists), Barbie Deinhoff's (affordable and low key), Zur Fetten Ecke (one of the most popular on the street) and L.U.X. (super cool club playing all types of music).

Clubs

Watergate

Falckensteinstraße 49, 10997

This go-to club is located under a bridge and always has a great atmosphere. Lots of d’n’b, and the policy of no photos makes you stay in the moment. In the morning hours, the outdoor garden is a great place to be. The crowd is friendly, the sound system good and great lighting. Turn up at 1am for ease of getting in.

Chalet

Vor dem Schlesischen Tor 3, 10997

In the uber-trendy neighbourhood of Kreuzberg you will find Chalet. With the biggest outdoor garden in a Berlin club, complete with a pond and swing – you can find Berlin’s best DJs (mainly house and techno). If you want to feel like you are partying back in time, come here.

Tresor

Köpenicker Str. 70, 10179

This is one of the most respected clubs in Berlin - open for almost as long as Berlin has been unified and the originator of house and techno.

If it wasn’t for Tresor, Berghain probably wouldn’t exist so show some respect.

Dudu

Torstraße 134, 10119

This is the place for Sushi (especially their Crunchy Dudu – yellowfin tuna, sesame and cucumber served with guacamole) but there are many other different types of Asian food from curry to pho.

The Bird

Don’t let the name fool you, this is an awesome US style steakhouse. The meat is corn- and grain-fed so it’s always delicious. They also make a top-class burger which is known as the best burger in town. Oh, and their chicken wings are the best, too!

Hotels

25 hour hotel bikini

Budapester Str. 40, 10787

In up and coming West Berlin, the hotel is next to the Zoologischer Garten so if you have a jungle room booked you have views of the Zoo. The super cool rooftop Monkey Bar offers a great starting point for your night and  an excellent breakfast in the morning.

Soho house

Torstraße 1, 10119

The famous Soho House offers rooms to non-members and Berlin is a great one to visit. The hotel is beautiful and in the best location for seeing the sites. The only problem is, with three restaurants and bars, a pool, spa, library, cinema and shop, you might not want to leave the building.
