editor’s note:
Well, well, well. Our 30th edition has arrived. Harking back to our first few issues, I will always remember a comment we received, saying “95% of magazines don’t make it to their second issue”, from a particularly pleasant person. I’m not one for holding grudges but… ‘You OK, hun?’.
We take a little look back at some of our printed features, talk to a few of our supporters and induct the first cohort of ‘cene Magazine alumni.
Head straight to the middle section for this year’s Alternative Gift Guide featuring all the best ideas for festive season gifting.
Elsewhere in this issue, we talk icons, idols and worship with Carson Parkin-Fairley, get frothy with j.flowers.mp3, touch down with the East Kent Mavericks and talk dots with Martha Smith, while Zahra Barri chats with award-winning comedian Fiona Ridgewell.
Enjoy!
