Summer has arrived with a dub from Children of Zeus, with their latest single 'Hard Work’ on First Word Records.
The Manchester duo have taken the smooth delivery you may have heard on previous soulful albums, and wrapped it around something you’re going to want on repeat by the pool, bar or beach this summer.
The track starts as expected, before a drum roll suggests where this track is really going take us.
You’ll discover a piercing guitar solo, which, if doesn’t make your hairs stand up on end, you must be dead inside.
Towards the end you will notice there’s a second dub track to get into; 'The Heartbeat, Pt. 2’, a development of 'The Heartbeat’, featured on the Travel Light album, which comes with a perfectly paired beat.
