Macknade Street Food Village to open for 2023

The third year of the Food Village will open with a live music launch party on Easter Friday (April 7th)


The Street Food Village Opens for the 2023 Season at Macknade (@macknade) next week.

Wednesday April 5th marks the re-opening of the Food Village - now in its third year - which offers a vibrant outdoor space adjacent to the main food hall.

There will also be a free launch party on Easter Friday (April 7th), with live music from Miss Holiday Swing from 6pm.

The Little Katsu Kitchen and Mamie’s Crepes will both be returning for the 2023 season, alongside new trader, Alex Edwards of Al Taco.


The Little Katsu Kitchen

Michelle Booth, chef-owner of The Little Katsu Kitchen, has a serious passion for Asian-fusion flavours and her dishes include katsu curries, dumplings & noodle bowls. Don’t miss the super fluffy bao buns with Asian slaw!


Al Taco

New for 2023, Al Taco offer a range of authentic tacos, nacho dishes & other Mexican specialities. The signature birria beef taco features super succulent beef inside a fried corn tortilla with a spicy consommé on the side!


Mamie’s Crepes

A father and son team with some serious French heritage, Mamie’s Crepes use a secret family recipe passed down through the generations for their delicious desserts, enjoyed by adults & children alike.


Macknade themselves will be serving light lunches (including their signature platters, sandwiches & salads) from their bar & kitchen in the Food Village, alongside cakes, pastries, hot and cold drinks.

Every weekend and to accompany their live music sessions on the first Friday of each month, guests can also enjoy loaded fries and hot filled ciabattas, with meat from Macknade’s butchers.
